I am pleased with this recent announcement because the contract comes to their "core" business, a recurring theme in their press releases. As we've discussed before, we won't see a lot of million dollar contracts, but a plurality of smaller ones.

This is the second real contract for their core translation business. Groupware is growing quickly for them. If they can get their Y2K stuff rolling, we're off to the races.

If you look back at this thread (jan-feb '97), you'll remember how impressed we were with the coolness of TPI management. They are dealing with their shareholders in the proper way with no hype. They seem to be right on their business plan and schedule, although some here have shown their frustration at not becoming millionares overnight (re;Sal'). TPI realizes that the balance sheet will speak for itself one day in the future.

I think that if you want to be involved with TPI, you must be an investor by accumulating shares and holding them. Although I sold a large portion of my position a month ago, I have started buying back in, now that I feel stronger that their business plan is working.

It takes time to pan out. A good day for TPI I think.

Good luck as always...
