I think you really do Scott's memory a serious disservice by trying to make a political point out of it.

As I said before, I never knew Scott, but from what I've gathered it seems totally obvious to me that he was in Iraq for one reason, and that is because that was where he wanted to be.

If there weren't conflict in Iraq (or at least none that made the news...) does it sound like a Scott-like thing to do to stay home and not venture out into other potentially dangerous areas of the world?

Or is the fact that danger exists somewhere in the world Bush's fault too?
