Clarke is an unimpeachable witness to the fact that the Bush Administration was smugly obsessed with a right wing agenda instead of the protection of America. As we learned this week-end, a "reasonable person", upon reading the briefing of Aug 6, 2001, would not have then gone on the longest vacation in the history of the presidency. "FBI information since that time indicates patterns of suspicious activity in this country consistent with preparations for hijackings or other types of attacks, including recent surveillance of federal buildings in New York." says it all.

As I stated to you before, when the watchman on duty falls asleep during a break-in, he gets the blame; not last week's crew. It's a simple and "logical" analogy. You are a simple person; you can get it if you really try.
