Odd, I thought it was a well known given that the US would retain military control over a puppet government after June 30th. As long as there are US government contracts and oil to protect, we'll be there.

We said even before the invasion that the US would use Iraq to remake the middle east...who wasn't listening? The domino theory, the axis of evil speech, the PNAC public documents, the 3000 strong embassy...it's all there.

I really wish we would stop looking to the Israelis as an example of dealing with terrorism. They're still fighting the same war from a generation ago.
