Blowout retail sales number

``This is a huge number, one of the strongest I've ever seen,'' said Cary Leahey, a senior economist at Deutsche Bank Securities in New York. ``You are left with the impression that the economy is running well above Fed expectations on growth and inflation, and they are inching closer to tightening.'' The economy ``is firing on all cylinders,'' he said.

That's a "hat trick" number. Stronger than consensus and the prior two months revised up.
