Cheney-Bush's tax, energy and budget schemes benefit ONLY the very-very wealthy. Yes that is true. Billionaires primarily. The richer you are the more money you make off their schemes. You should read "Perfectly Legal". It proves than even well-off people are being gypped by Cheney-Bush economics. The only saving grace have been the ultra low interest rates which Greenspan has kept in place. Otherwise, we'd be in goat's head soup. Greenspan's low interest rates also account for much of the growth and jobs creation lately. Take that away and there's not much left besides increases in medical and defense spending.
