Actually the partisan attacks from the left are well known
throughout the terrorist world. It helps embolden the
terrorists. IOW, the left is aiding & abetting the enemy
with their purely partisan attacks against the Bush
Admin's war on terror.

Additionally, many on the left are not actively helping in
the war on terror. Indeed much of what they do is actively
obstructing it. So instead of having their valuable
assistance in winning the war on terror, these people are
hampering it, plus other resources are forced to deal with
those who are actively hampering it.

You can spin & deny that this is the reality today, but
that is precisely what we face right now. Too many on the
liberal left are placing their desire to recapture the
White House above national security & their 'by any means
necessary' approach is a genuine harm to the cause.
