It's really very simple:

The terrorists thought they could break our will by attacking us on 9-11, that we'd cut and run from the Middle East. What they didn't understand is 9-11 only hardened our resolve.

They think that by killing Americans in Iraq, they'll make us leave. They don't understand America.

Now what we have to do in Falluja is break their will with overwhelming force and destruction, it's the only way. By attacking them we will cause them to submit. That's human nature.

Am i missing something?
