Gold-- I doubt that you are a veteran. The navy friend, who retired after 30 yrs of active duty is dependent upon veteran benifits. I watched a bush spokeperson brag (lie) about how he increased veteran benefits. In fact, they have been reduced by bush. I went to get my benefit of drugs after hitting 65 and was told the benefit was eliminated for me. Other veterans have been screwed by bush/cheney and are also pissed at the hypocricy. However, you are calling me a lier. Leave your email, and I'll try to get the friend in touch with you--on the condition that you admit your error and vote for someone who is a real war hero--Kerry. fred
