You forgot about the 1st Gulf War, Clinton's periodic bombings of Iraq, maintenance of the no-fly zones, and the embargo? Previous US Presidents dis not have a Iraq problem

But Iraq has nothing to do with terrorism. You think so because of the separate mental boxes you've formed - as have most people including me for awhile.

The '93 WTC bombing was timed to be as close as possible (while still going for mass casulties) to the 2nd anniversary of Iraq's defeat in the 1st Gulf War. The Kenyan embassy bombings were timed to occur on an anniversary of the UN embargo on Iraq. Osama bin Ladin's fatwa calling for Muslims to kill Americans featured complaints about the Gulf War and the UN embargo very heavily as reasons for the fatwa. It also followed by 4 days a major address Pres. Clinton gave at the Pentagon threatening military strikes against Iraq because of a crisis over inspections. The fatwa was clearly issued in response to Clinton's threat of military action.

As you can see Iraq was a major motivating factor for anti-American terrorists BEFORE Bush became President.

This President does not know why he is in Iraq. he started off by saying because of WMDs, then he said to eliminate Saddam because he has AQ links, then he said to eliminate Saddam because he is brutal to his people, and now he has come to rest at the establishment of democracy.

This isn't true - all of the arguments for war you cited were stressed from the beginning - you could look up the Congressional resolutions authorizing the Iraq war - they are all listed there (and more).
