Steve - yup - you got that right. I have tried to tell the person that this approach is beneficial to Republicans - but the message does not get through.

In our family we have a wide spectrum of opinion. We have learned to respect each others opinion. My brother-in-law is a true liberal. However, I respect him totally. He walks the talk and tries to make a difference where it is difficult to do so. He is able and willing to intelligently discuss issues.

I continue to contend the country needs an honest and open debate on the critical issues that confront us. From that debate decisions need to be taken to do something. It is my sincere hope we have at least a 55:45 election - one way or the other. While I clearly have my preference of who I hope wins. A clear path forward is most important.

Bob
