Watching that bumbling inarticulate man tonight I couldn't help feeling that half the Americans out there in the heartland empathise with him - think he's 'sincere', 'one of us', 'trying his best'. The other half of America one hopes sees him as a walking disaster, a simpleton trying to impose his half baked faith based views on a people who want no part of him. The lies and half truths continued unabated.
