I could be wrong, but wasn't there something in his left ear? Was someone giving him responses. And he got lost trying to deliver them, finally collapsing into an admission that he's not a very good extemporaneous speaker. "I hope -- I don't want to sound like I have made no mistakes. Perhaps Karen Hughes passed out in exasperation. I know Cheney wasn't helping him. I saw him at a Press Conference, I think it was in Japan. Hiiissss vvverrrry slloowww aannnssweersss, monotone and lack of energy seemed zombie-like.

I hope the religious righties wake up to the fact that Bush and Company are among the false gods warned of in the Bible. Pat Robertson says he will continue to support Bush whether "he is right or wrong". Not much hope there.
