Clinton clearly lied & may have attempted to obstruct
justice. Republican's were quite partisan in going after
him. National security was not intentionally put at risk

Viewed in hindsight, and in the context of the WOT, what would you say were the consequences of ham-stringing the Excecutive Branch for 18 months? Were any of them predictable going in?

Yes, Clinton lied, but he lied in the context of his political enemies crazy with bloodlust to nail him on something, anything! and finally, after years of investigation, turning up a sex scandal to nail him on. True, the Republicans had their point, but it was a very narrow one that ignored the larger context. That was why the Republicans could never convince the majority of Americans that the matter rose to an impeachment level of importance.

What can you find from similar Republican politicians that
comes remotely close to the crap from those Democrats?

Clinton was accused, on no evidence, of having had Vince Foster murdered.
