OKAY! OKAY! Now YOU are our resident OIL EXPERT!

Then again.... maybe you're just the smart-ass attendant of a gas-station somewhere in a Texan boondocks! Err... How much for a gallon?

Re: Egypt's miniature oil industry

For 2003, Egypt is estimated to have earned oil export revenues of about $1.8 billion, down sharply from the $3.3 billion earned in 1996, mainly on declining oil production and net oil exports. Over the next two years, Egypt's oil export revenues are expected to decline by over 50%, reaching just $1.0 billion in 2005, on sharply lower net oil exports.

$1.8 billion A YEAR!! LOL... About what Saudi Arabia earns in a day, isn't it? Or about what's squandered in a week in Iraq's burning wells, leaking pipelines and bombed refineries.....
