Saddam's/and Sons killing raping and what ever of their own people

(1) That would be their problem, and (2) that a brutal dictator killed people is no excuse for US military to come up from the other of the world to kill more.

As far as WMD...they may or may not really be there

Really. I seem to remember one W. Bush say "there ARE WMDs, we KNOW where they are" etc etc. I don't remember no "they may or may not be there", which, if I recall correctly, was the way Americans initially supported the invasion of Iraq, not to mention consistently smeared countries like Germany and France who urged caution as spineless cowards.

even if there are none I believe the Iraqis people will be better off in the long run with out Saddam

The ones who are not already dead, you mean.

We will see if the rest are better off. There is no way to tell for now which way the balance is going to tip, and any democratic election will almost certainly bring to power a religious Muslim government.

I think a few of Saddam's followers are still around stirring the pot

Are you under the impression that the Shiites, who are currently up in arms, are "Saddam's followers"??? Careful, it's a trick question :-)

One impressive achievement of the US presence in Iraq was to unite Sunni and Shiite... against itself. What Saddam could not do in thirty years, US managed in a year.
