We get new plates every 5 years. That plate was on a trailer that sits outside. The new plate came last year so I needed to get on to use the trailer.

My wife is in the process of buying a new car and will be trading in the car I bought her. She wants this car in her name so I'll have a plate and no car. Kind of hate to lose the number though, my grandfather went to the governor and got the 6 digit plate back when they all were 5 digit back in the 30s. Same number has been in the family for over 70 years.
