<<<BUT THEY DIDN"T EVEN GET THE TERRORIST NAMES TO THE AIRLINES! and considering that they USED THEIR REAL NAMES!...how hard would that have been!>>>

In a lot of ways, that's perhaps the hottest smoking guns in the whole 9/11 whitewash. To the best of my knowledge, the Commission has not lifted a finger to positively identify any of the hijackers. Numerous credible sources have positively confirmed that many of the "hijackers" were victims of identity theft. After all, it's probably a bit of a shock to see one's name and photo flashed across the entire world in connection with the worst criminal act in modern history. So many of the IDs used were those of regular Arab Joe Sixpacks, with no connections to terrorism. There's also a fair amount of circumstantial evidence that the alleged ring leaders were not who they were said to be. That brings up the obvious question of who in their right mind would attempt a secret terrorist mission by assuming the names of known terrorists? And if their foot soldiers used assumed names, why didn't the ring leaders on Federal watch lists do the same (assuming they didn't)? The problem for the 9/11 Commission is they can't even pretend to probe those questions without the entire official story falling apart.

The Commission has taken certain items on faith from day one: 1. That al Qaida and bin Laden did it. and 2. That the hijackers were who the official story said they were, and used their real names.

The entire official story gets blown out of the water if the wrong finger prints are found on the smoking gun. As absurd as the idea is that these guys wandered about the US in their official terrorist disguises, without anyone catching on to the plot, it's still better than a real investigation into who they really were. At least as far as the Bush Cartel is concerned.
