Levins not my favorite but once you get away from the bush hatred, why are these folks disqualified? They were against the war in iraq and especially given the lack of wmd, they had a fair case. Where would be if we hadnt attacked. Saddam would be in power and the iraq cork would still be in the bottle. If folks had a clearer idea of what removing the cork would actually lead to, perhaps a more modest policy of cutting off the south from saddams rule, thus surrounding the triangle while creating democracies in both kurdish and shiaa regions would have been a better alternative. I am rooting with you for a quick win over the really bad guys we are engaged with now. If that happens we should be ok, but it doesnt mean that there was not more than one way to skin the cat. Its the deaniacs who you are afraid of, not biden, bayh, or even levin or kennedy. So they hate bush--get over it. If there is to be a dem pres, he can hate bush all he wants as long as his policy is not determined by the dean/nader/protectionist/isolationist crowd. mike
