Yesterday, I had the honor and privelege of honoring Scott at his internment and funeral and having my family invited as part of his family during the service in Florida, I can assure you, Scott was a greater father than he was ever a soldier, and that is his legacy in my eyes. I've never seen a full military service before, and can assure everyone there wasn't a soul present who thought he died in vain. He is still alive, the only difference is how we know him now and our temporary inability to interact with him. I'll see him again some day, in that I believe. I might add I have never seen stronger children in my life..To Katy, Scott's Mom, Jason, Scott's Brother , Trish, the mother of Scott's children, we cannot possibly express our gratitude and our appreciation for the unwaivering support you have shown me and my family, even in the midst of your own tragedy. From your mouthes to God's ears. Peace
