If those planes were shot down, as is now the presidential order, we MIGHT have averted three-thousand deaths and the destruction of the WTC and part of the pentagon. That's what!

I disagree completely

first a policy should have been set up long before Bush took office

and, even today, it would take time to conclude it is a terrorist act to destroy the plane, a target and the people on board rather than a hijacking

not to mention deciding to shoot down a plane loaded with American citizens

imagine the up-roar that would cause - and yet another 9/11 type commission to determine how else it could have been handled to NOT cost American lives

it's easy to point blame, and more so after the fact

when in fact the blame lies with bin laden
