Remember when the Fed first started to lower rates when the economy showed signs of slowing? "everyone" thought the market would go up. All sorts of pundits showed this or that graph of how much the market went up historically AFTER the Fed raised rates first one, then two then three times.....

Somehow I feel that the first few rate increases will actually be GOOD NEWS because it will mean we faced deflation and spit in its face.

All the rich, retired folks in my town will be able to spend more money again as they keep it in short term CDs and live on the interest. Few of um really want to spend principal so they just cut spending to match the interest they made.
