It has also been speculated by those who study Bush as a propaganda tool that his handlers deliberately attempted to bore a significant percentage of the audience so that they'd see him for a few minutes, imprinting George on the weak-minded just as geese can get imprinted on an ultra-light, before they flipped the channel.

Of course, comparing George to an ultra-light is patently unfair to ultra-lights. And comparing the Shrub's flock of loyalists to geese is patently absurd. They're more like sparrows.
