I have a 2M TRIN and TRINQ chart running in my futures workspaces with our Swing indicator plotted on it. Most of the time I blithely ignore it - only at potential intraday price extremes might I have a look. I never use it for timing.

Scrunched up more than how I display it normally to show two days:
trendvue.com

4/13 TRIN had been on the rise - not as sharply as one would normally expect given the resulting price action.

4/14 TRIN was generally steady all day, again, not at all what one expects to see when price accelerates downward.

I guess that influenced my thinking a little - I bought big on the 2B test of bottom near the end of the day.

Whether I get to keep it or dump it at break even near the open, only time will tell.
