I wouldn't trust Mr. Drudge...According to Air America's lawyer, the guy who owns the LA station was charging both AAR and another organization for the same airtime. AAR called him on it, so he's pulled them from the LA and Chicago stations he owns and changed the locks. AAR has enough cash and guarenteed loans to operate for two years and just added something like six new stations, which seems pretty inconsistent with running out of cash. I'm inclined to believe the crooked radio station owner theory over the bad check theory.
