Thanks for the link. I read the document in it's entirety. There is nothing in it that I disagree with. More than that I agree with it whole heartedly.

How deadly force is to be applied is not detailed in this document - (and there is no reason why it should be).

But you as a lawyer will know (better than most people), there is a lot of wiggle room for the execution of this strategy.

I fully believe that we can achieve the objectives of this strategy without changing our core values. In fact, I am absolutely certain that the only way we can achieve the objectives of this document is if we maintain our core values.

After all, what is it all about? What are we fighting for, if not for our core values.

You know as well as I do that many who beleive in our use of deadly force, know nothing about our core values. Too many are in it to profit from war. Too many are in it because they lust for destruction - as if it were a video or football game. Finally, there are those that are angry, for reasons they themselves don't know, and war somehow satisfies this anger.

As we continue this discussion, I begin to appreciate and undnerstand our core values ever more so.
