You said; "CFO also said there were NO buyout talks in process...."

He may be telling you exactly what he sees as the present state of affairs; but as always, its the missing information that always bites the worst.

1. I was struck by the obvious lack of acknowledgment during that interview that the stock had been under a heavy Naked Short campaign!

2. Everyone who might be a bidder has already done their DD, my guess is that the parties interested in the SDR already knew what they wanted to know, from the process conducted last fall.

3. Certain parties walked away from that process, holding their cards close to the vest, fully cognisant of the naked campaign; had assigned proxy players to begin open market accumulation and were fully aware if not in agreement with the Naked shorts, who would eventually have to cover.

4. The volume was too great, the preceeding obfuscation too clear....together they indicate a strategic plan was / is unfolding.

I expect this will enter another phase of jockeying and obfuscation now, especially if there are more than one players considering a move.

The market is a Rubiks Cube, and reg FD is but one side of the puzzle, its where knowledge / perception is distributed unevenly between the observers.

The system takes care of itself.

These are only personal opinions and should be read and understood in that light. Could be 100% wrong...whatever the outcome.....its been a life lesson.
