Kerry has voted for the biggest defense budgets in history. He has also voted FOR every weapons system except the MX which was dumped on a bi-partisan basis. While Kerry is for fiscal responsibility within the Pentagon, those Bush ads and rightwing spin about Kerry being "weak on defense" are ridiculous lies and you're a dupe to repeat them. If you look closer, top conservative Republicans have agreed with every defense vote Kerry every made, including Duck Cheney and Bush Sr., McCain and Hagel have defended Kerry as NOT being weak on defense and Kerry helped save tax payers a ton of money. Don't worship the Pentagon. Sometimes they waste more money that the rest of the government combined. This makes us LESS safe not more safe.
