I agree, Ashcroft is underappreciated. As time goes on he seems to rise in stature.

It's hard to love a "Holy Roller," Finn. :>) He is a member of a minor fundamentalist Evangelical sect. And he took an unfair "hit" on the draped statues. Turned out it had nothing to do with his sensibilities.

He was thought to be a perfect target for the left, and it has backfired on them. Couldn't be a nicer outcome for the beating they thought they would give him in the 911 hearings.
