You heard me! If Americans are supposedly paying for the 'R&D' of the pharmaceutical companies --- then by God we should get equity participation in the companies so we can profit from their future stock appreciation... just like when Reagan forced Chrysler to issue warrants to the government (which were later sold at a huge profit) as a condition of the taxpayers bailing out Chrysler. No subsidies for companies (especially subsides we've never voted on!) unless we get to participate in the profits --- like any sensible investor.
