When it comes to figuring out the best way to "fix" things between the Islamic world and the western world, I'm pretty humble too.

A few things I do know; there is no easy solution but we need to find common interests between the Islamic nations and ourselves, we need to take the military coercive threat out of the mix and leave it as a self-defense threat only, and we need to find a solution to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict that pleases no one but is fair to everyone, and then we need to expend the U.N. resources to enforce it.

I prefer a Kerry type of "we need to work this out with diplomacy as our main tool, and force as a last resort" rather than the Bush "we will make them see the light" thinking.

In truth, I'll vote against Bush more than I'll vote for Kerry, but I'll vote.
