For anyone that remembers I seem to remember an American lady ambassador that gave Saddam the green light about NO US intervention if he moved to take Kuwait. Saddam was a big associate of the US during the Iran/Iraq war and we supplied huge doses of bio-chemical weapons to Mr. Saddam. This is the same old story going back to the Crusades. Christianize the heathen and take back the Holy Land all the while our gov goes for the booty. When will we ever learn that our democracy we talk about is in effect, the right to scrape out a living and hope that the IRS doesn't call us up on our taxes. Seems like our greed will always keep us from a true democracy. James
