The days of the PCs are counted. Thin Clients running Windows CE –a box the size of a telephone set- are hooking a keyboard, mouse and monitor and a power cord. Access only by USB2.0. All applications stored and ran from a server farm. A “Big Brother” in IT Dept. watches over you and the whole lot at the office. Your employees do not listen music from CD’s nor install any pirate SW and avoid inserting virus infected stuff and virus and worm are more controleable. Servers will need upgrades and data-recovery capabilities. Good bye PC. At home will come a solution soon. We will pay a subscription fee and we will have access to packages of Programs similar to what we pay for TV Packages.
