Hi Kakamongus,

Re:<<Just a few individuals/companies think otherwise. Notwithstanding your gripe, the masses can't be wrong. Dell would not only NOT be growing, they'd be going out of business soon. Call all the millions of satisfied customers the silent majority...>>

The tech landscape is strewn with the carcass of companies who grow like Dell and then fell apart. Dell is no different than those other companies. Time will show how correct I am, unless they get their act together.

From your profile I see that your an MD, so I must conclude that your a smart guy, or gal. Me, heck, I'm a retired guy who spent his career in the computer industry as an engineer and executive. Believe me, when I say that I've see this all before, I know what I'm talking about. The fall from the mountain doesn't happen overnight, it takes years to accomplish. Look at how long it took DEC to fall, Compaq, and to a lessor extent, IBM. I guess IBM can be considered to be one of the walking wounded.
