PITTSBURGH, April 16 /U.S. Newswire/ -- With rock star Jon Bon Jovi, Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell and former NFL-great Franco Harris by his side, Democratic Presidential candidate John Kerry today closed his weeklong campus tour with a rally at the University of Pittsburgh. Kerry used the stop to highlight his "Compact with the Next Generation" and challenge his audience to make their voices and their votes heard in 2004.

"This week's tour might end today, but I tell you I learned a semester's worth of work," Kerry said. "After seeing the strength and conviction of students on every campus I visited, I know that together we can build a stronger America. But to make this kind of lasting change, I need you by my side. So, I'm going to end this tour like I started it -- by challenging you to get involved in your country and this campaign."
