I think I agree with most of what you have said. But you have to recognize that supporting the republican party is supporting all of the ills that you have written about. The republicans are definitely for corporations over the little guy.

Sure lobbyists try to earn favor from all political parties, but the republicans are more willing to lend an ear as it were. That's why supporting the democrats makes better sense at this point in time.

We do have a lot of work to do, and term limits and campaign finance reform are still needed. Will it end all our ills? Probably not.

I have to vote for Kerry, because Bush has already lost my trust. I can't trust a guy who will take this country to a war that was not imminent and was not a part of the war on Al Qaeda. These reasons alone will make me vote for Kerry, who I think has some good ideas for getting Iraq on track, and then returning to the war on terror...the original target of Al Qaeda has been ignored behind the distraction of Iraq.

It's funny how Bush calls himself a war president or the terror president...the two reasons that he ought to be thrown out of office...for ignoring Al Qaeda before and after 9-11, and engaging in a pre-emptive war in Iraq. He ought to be impeached.
