Zonke, you would have thought they'd have termed it a "failure to undergo physical" or something to that effect but I don't know what terminology they used.

I think it's a non-issue because it's clear that during that period of time he was screwing up big time. Many, like me, won't hold that against him and those who are righteously judgmental are so supportive of him that they would disbelieve or ignore any negative facts.

Interestingly, Bush has gotten himself in trouble several times because he has hypocritically attempted to attack others with facts that apply to him. His administration attempted to blame the lack of preparation for 9/11 by saying that there was no anti-terrorism plan from the Clinton Admin and that Clinton's Administration had a low level priority for anti-terrorism, and it turns out that those claims fit his early Administration a lot better than Clinton's. His claims of Kerry's changing positions mirrors his changing tactics on the homeland security dept., the 9/11 commission, the U.N. and many other issues. His claim that he's a "war president" raises the issue of why he didn't go to war.

In other words, his hypocrisy creates issues with people like me who would otherwise be much more understanding.

PS. You can't win a neener-neener war with Jake Straw. I think he gets his techniques and ideas from a fairly slow third grader who acts as his mentor.
