Sadr is one thing but Sistani said: the constitution blows and stay the heck out of the holy cities.

Sistani has been a (sorta) moderating influence and to lose any more support from him would be a devastating blow to what's left of the coalition. If security doesn't improve and civilians pull out of Iraq wholescale, the situation simply gets worse.

It's obvious that huge swaths of American Taxpayer money is going, not to Iraqis or to rebuilding or to protecting the troops, but to Halliburton's coffers. The lease on vehicles, the overcharging for oil, the embroidered gym towels...where is the government oversight for this kind of thing?

Unbelievable.
