>>"It's amazing how consistent it is. A classic of the genre was the Chicago Tribune headline, which managed to use both constructs in a single headline: "Ashcroft Ignored Terrorism, Panel Told; Attorney General Denies Charges, Blames Clinton." Why not: "Reno Ignored Terrorism, Panel Told; Former Deputy Attorney General Denies Charges, Blames Bush"?"<<

According to "Frontline" last night, Reno did a good job of protecting John O'Neil, the key guy in the FBI on Counterterroism who was bypassed by the FBI higherups when he could have helped the most because he was a "glassbreaker". O'Neil knew well the danger of bin Laden and Reno listened to him. He quit the FBI for several reasons after Ashcroft became AG, but probably in part (my speculation) because he lost his protector and knew Ashcroft was more interested in covering up naked statues then combating terrorism. Why did Ashcroft refuse to increase the FBI terrorism budget on Sept 10 and tell the FBI he did not want briefing updates on bin Laden?

O'Neil took the job of Hd of Security for the WTC and died on 9/11.

Btw, Coulter says >>"Bin Laden is still determined to attack inside the United States!"<<... tell Coulter that bin Laden is not in Iraq and also ask her why the selected one flew the bin Laden family out of the the US so quickly after 9/11.
