DD takes time and has opportunity costs - I could be watching South Park, driving along the coast, designing circuits, being frustrated fixing Microsoft Windows security flaws, working out at the gym while staring at cute women doing abdominal work and stretches.... Close stops (mental or orders) can make up for incomplete DD. Also diversity in investments. Evn Warren Buffet's record is not perfect, and they do extensive DD.
