len - I will let you in on a little secret concerning not distinguishing
between the 3 "Abrahamic" faiths....
Abraham had 2 sons - only one was the son of faith...
Galatians 4:22 For it is written, that Abraham had two
sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the
flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.
There is "faith" engendered by the flesh and of the will of man.
There is "faith" that is from above and the gift of God.
The Muslem "faith" teaches that anyone who confesses that Christ Jesus
is the son of god commits blaspemy and will go to hell.
Christianity is based upon this confession:
Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness;
and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
and again:
1 John 4:15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the
Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
and again:
1 John 5:5 Who is he that overcometh the world,
but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
I hope that you can understand there will never be unity
between these completely opposite "faiths"
They can only tolerate one another but they cannot "accept" one another.
Add to this picture the FACT that Muslims believe that killing
those who are hell bound already is a religious duty filled
with eternal reward...
You can them see why killing "innocent Christian civilians" is
impossible - their is no such thing - they are all guilty of
blasphemy

Jesus the son of Mary, the Apostle of Allah"; —But they
killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to
appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of

Deniel of the diety of Christ:
Koran 4:171 O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in
your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ
Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) an apostle of
Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a
Spirit proceeding from Him: So believe in Allah and His
apostles. Say not "Trinity": desist: It will be better for
you: For Allah is One God: Glory be to Him: (Far Exalted is
He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the
heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.
Pronouncing condemnation upon Christians:
Koran 5:75 They do blaspheme who say: "Allah is Christ the
son of Mary." But said Christ: "O Children of Israel!
Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord" Whoever joins other
gods with Allah, —Allah will forbid him the Garden, and
the Fire will be his abode. There will for the wrongdoers
be no one to help.
There are many more - these are enough to display the "can of worms"
that you as an "agnostic" are entering into - I fear you really
have no idea - of who Christ is and who these people really are.
They are covenanted to the son of the bond woman:
Koran 2:125 Remember We made the House a place of assembly
for men and a place of safety; and take ye the Station of
Abraham as a place of prayer; and We covenanted with
Abraham and Ismail, that they should sanctify My house for
those who compass it round, or use it as a retreat, or
bow, or Prostrate themselves (therein in prayer).
The woman and son of the flesh not the son of promise...
Genesis 17:18 And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael
might live before thee!
19 And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son
indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will
establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant,
and with his seed after him.
20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have
blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply
him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will
make him a great nation.
21 But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which
Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next
year.
22 And he left off talking with him, and God went up ...
I do not expect you to either believe or understand what is
being said or taught in these passages...
All I hope to show you is that even Moses wrote about the difference
between Ishmael (Ismail) and Isaac.
Isaac was born of a miracle birth to an elderly woman who herself
did not believe it was possible - in fact Isaac means (laughter)
because Sarah laughed when she heard God promised a son to her
at such an age.
The flesh profits nothing - the Muslim faith is of the flesh
the bondwoman and works - it is not of FAITH at all.
Not "saving faith" that believes God's work alone saves a man from
his sins - they do not even believe Jesus died never mind dying
the sins of many.
Jesus was the "lamb (passover) of God"
God passes over the saved men who have the blood of Christ posted
at the door of their hearts.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth,
and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
It all about Christ and Him alone - and our sins in the face of a
sinless and Holy God.
If god is not saving you - then you are not saved.
