..just sounds dishonest, but isn't. Trying to have it both ways and position himself on both sides of an issue is inherently (and intentionally) misleading i.e. dishonest.

BTW that setup was pretty neat but a little too transparent. All these softballs you're pitching up. I'm afraid some people might be beginning to see through what you're doing. Like this:

See, you gave too instances of Bush telling the truth already. You gave Bush credit for cutting taxes and taking out the Taliban. To which I would add, obviously, Bush said he'd overthrow Saddam with or without UN support and he did.
