Well, that's really what I was saying. The only way to have made money on commodities in the last eighteen years or so would have been, for most people, to have been in a managed fund run by somebody with instincts that I know I do not have. Or else to be the person with those instincts.

As to stocks, I have done so well with selling short and buying puts over the last 3-4 years that I need to start reminding myself "Don't confuse bear markets with genius" if one is a bear.

But nowadays I am convert to the Jim Rogers school.
