Your post is very scornful of the abilities of other nations. You also say that EVERYONE is for saving lives. If that were so then Portugal would not have indicated to pull out their troops from Iraq. I would say that their issuing that threat is an indication that Bush is not approaching this in a way that lives could be saved.

Let us not forget that it is the Iraqis and not the AQ who is doing all the damage to the military today.
