however the strength of the special forces was no where in number of what was to come through turkey. my point is they couldn't go into the city to take over and that is the fight going on now. Perhaps if they did come down in numbers from turkey with the heavy artillery we wouldn't be having this fight now. I remember White statement but that was before the war. Part of his statement was just to invade. many generals or talking heads on cnn etc all said the same thing. The military cut through Iraq like knife through butter. Brenner screwed up in disassemble iraq military, perhaps he should have only taken out high command.. My question is what does the military say in Iraq. did they get enough troops? or was it political. I expect we find out in some book. I am not sure Rumsfeld held back on troops. I am not sure the generals in Iraq felt they had enough to accomplish the mission as they saw it.
