Hi Tommaso,

Some interestin stuff.........

In 2003 Inco (N) produced:

Nickel 213,890 tonnes
Copper 93,335 "
Cobalt 903 "

From Inco's Annual report 2003

Each $1/lb increase in the price of Cobalt equates to increased annual earnings for Inco of $ 0.01/share.
Each $0.10/lb increase in the price of Nickel equates to increased annual earnings for Inco of $ 0.12/share
Each $0.10/lb increase in the price of Cobalt equates to increased annual earnings for Inco of $ 0.09/share.

By my calculations (by todays prices), Cobalt represents 1/5 of 1% of Ni,Cu and Cobalt revenue to Inco even at Cobalt $ 28 per lb.

I can just see the calculators flyin now. :o)
