i always did find appealing the kind of art deco-ness of paving one's lawn with nice fresh sweet-smelling black asphalt

and finishing it off with brilliant wide yellow parking space stripes

mind you, there would be no street access to this paved 'lawn'... might even put it behind a three foot high wooden fence with a guardrail mural painted on it

imagine periodically going out to hose off the 'lawn' instead of cutting it

what a day for a daydream
