DBC News on Apple/Power Computing?!

Power Computing denies Apple buyout talk
CUPERTINO, Calif. (DBC) -- Power Computing on Tuesday flatly denied talk that Apple Computer will buy the Macintosh clone-maker, which has been planning to make a public offering of its own.
The report surfaced on a World Wide Web site called MacOSRumors.com, which said a deal will be announced this week. The Web site cited "several sources," but didn't name them. Asked if the report was accurate, Power Computing Chairman Steve Kahng told DBC News: "Absolutely not. There is no truth to it."

Apple, in keeping with company policy, had no comment...
