Hmmm.... In THAT case if you don't use too much KI3- -say to the point where you blow them 50 or 100 feet into the air- -that might not be an unreasonable plan. I'm sure they will find the pretty colors provided by the detonations amusing. Might want to mix in a little gold with it too; I believe it give a nice greenish tint.
