<<It will be interesting to watch the next 20 years or so unfold as the wealth of the world is redistributed in a more balanced fashion by the natural forces of capitalism..>>

You got that right.
Also not everyone wants what we have.

Example:

While staying in this small village in Mexico last month.
the family I was renting a room had a lot of prime ocean front land smack dab in front of one of the best surf breaks around.
I mentioned to them that they could sell a very small portion; like 10%, pocket say$400,000 us so they could make improvements to their business and their own lives.
ie: like not having to wash the laundry of their family of 11 all day long by hand with their feet in the mud. And improving the very sad toilet and shower facilities, drill another well; etc etc etc-------excetera!!!

She stated that they didn't want to sell anything.
And looked at me as to say whats wrong with how we are doing things, and like don't worry about it.
Go surfing and have fun.
She also stated that living more simply is easier in her opinion.
She could be right.
